The awareness-raising training provided for Catholic religious leaders focused on Parkinson’s disease.
The training focused on raising awareness about the symptoms and misconceptions of the public about Parkinson’s disease. Mrs. Kibra Kebede, the founder of the organization, mentioned in her opening remarks, “There are critical misconceptions in the public about the disease, and the religious leaders are the right targets to minimize this misunderstanding of the public. After this training, you should work on it.”

Dr. Tesfaye, the neurologist, delivered the training and showed the way the training participants play their role in addressing this misunderstanding.
PPSOE is working to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease with different publics.
