Income-Generating Activities Training Held for Parkinson’s Patients’ Caregivers

The Parkinson Patients Support Organization Ethiopia recently conducted a two-week-long training program on income-generating activities for caregivers of Parkinson’s patients. This specialized session aimed to equip caregivers with the knowledge and skills needed to generate income while providing care to patients.

Thirty caregivers were carefully selected to participate in the training, which covered various aspects of business strategy, skill development, market trends, and effective business management. The organization has committed to providing material and financial assistance to the trainees for starting their businesses, based on their skills, interests, and proposals.

This initiative falls under the capacity-building intervention efforts of the organization, aimed at empowering caregivers and enhancing their ability to support Parkinson’s patients effectively.
